NAUI Dive Master Program Course Session

The next NAUI Dive Master Program session will run April 19–23, 2027. Students who enroll will receive their final reporting instructions, daily schedule, and course check-in details before the start of training.

Course training will be conducted in Vortex Springs, FL and Panama City Beach, FL. These sites support the confined and open water training environment needed for a professional-level leadership course and help prepare candidates for the varied dive conditions expected at the Dive Master level.
Step into professional dive leadership through the NAUI Dive Master Program at Vets Recover in partnership with the Helping 2 Overcome (H2O) Program. This course is built for experienced divers who are ready to strengthen their leadership abilities, assist with training, supervise certified divers, and move forward on the professional path in scuba.
Whether your goal is to grow as a dive leader, support mission-driven programming, or continue building toward instructor-level development, this program is designed to challenge you, prepare you, and position you for the next level.
Tuition and enrollment
Tuition for the NAUI Dive Master Program is $2,000, with a $600 deposit required at sign up to reserve your seat. This course is GI Bill® approved for students who have eligible VA education benefits, but it operates as a reimbursement-based program rather than direct billing.
Students are responsible for paying all course fees up front, and the Department of Veterans Affairs reimburses eligible students after successful completion based on their individual GI Bill® eligibility percentage and applicable VA rules.

• NAUI Dive Master e-Learning.
• NAUI Dive Master learning materials.

For students using the GI Bill®, the course fee also includes:

• NAUI Dive Master e-Learning and other required course materials.
• DAN Diving First Aid for Professionals.
• NAUI Teaching Assistant.

Prerequisites
To enroll in the NAUI Dive Master Program, students must meet the following prerequisites:

• Minimum age of 18 by the water phase of the course.
• Current certification as a NAUI Rescue Scuba Diver or equivalent.
• Current certification as a NAUI Master Scuba Diver or equivalent.
• Current certification in First Aid for Dive Professionals or equivalent.
• Current certification in Oxygen Provider or equivalent.
• Minimum of 60 logged open water scuba dives.
• Minimum of 30 hours of logged bottom time.
• Dive experience varied in environment, depth, and activities.
• Medical approval from a licensed physician within the previous 12 months confirming good physical condition and unconditional approval for diving.

Onsite certification options
For students who do not currently hold the required professional first aid certifications, the following courses will be offered onsite before or alongside Dive Master training:

• DFA Pro — $250.00
• Emergency Oxygen Provider — $150.00

These additional certification costs are separate unless otherwise stated in your enrollment package.
